Amanda's Ferrets

Amanda and her boyfriend adopted their first ferrets on November 20, 2004. They got them from a family that could no longer keep them due to the husband's allergies. When they got to the house to meet the ferrets, she was glad that they chose to. These poor babies needed help. They were covered in fleas and one of them had a really bad cough. So, Amanda took them into her care. After two days, they got an appointment at the vet. It turned out that Loki had a slight respiratory infection, so he got some medicine and has been great ever since. The ferrets also got a flea treatment. They are now happy and content living with Amanda, who is in in love with them.

Loki is the fatboy. He's the more playful of the two. He wakes Amanda up every morning at 5:30, scratching on the cage to let her know that he wants to play. When Amanda opens the door, he will come flyin out! He is always wanting to play. He loves to chase their dog, Roxy. He gets very excited when his brother Bruno, goes through the tube. He loves to play peek-a-boo! He's gray and white in color, and is the cutest little fatboy ever!

Bruno is the more skiddish of the two. He likes to play with Loki, but he's the one that when he's tired, he's OUT! There is no waking him up until he's good and ready. He loves to play in the tube and tease Loki. He likes to ride on shoulders and chase socks around that are still on feet! He's got raccoon markings, and he's a gorgeous boy!

Loki and Bruno have a new sister name Kyra. She was born 11-14-2004. Amanda got her from the pet store because she looked like she had a spot of hair starting to thin. Just to make sure she would be okay, Amanda brought her home and got her checked out. Everything is fine. She is dearly loved by both humans and ferret siblings.
